I really enjoyed my stay at The Campbell Hotel. The rustic yet modern decor added charm to the historic vibe of the place. However, my experience was slightly marred by some maintenance issues in my room. Overall, I would recommend it for its unique atmosphere and location, but the hotel could use some improvement on cleanliness and upkeep.

The hotel is ideally located on Route 66 and close to downtown, making it easy to explore the area. There's even a restaurant next door that stayed open late.

I enjoyed chatting with the staff at the bar, and the food at the restaurant next door was fabulous. Unfortunately, I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that.

The amenities were decent, including a coffee maker in the room. However, the hotel could improve by ensuring rooms are serviced regularly and have basic necessities like hand soap.

My recent stay at The Campbell Hotel was a mix of charm and disappointment. While I appreciated the location and some vintage decor, I encountered several maintenance issues that detracted from my experience. The staff were friendly, which was definitely a plus, but cleanliness and comfort were lacking.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in had several cleanliness issues, including stained sheets and outdated furnishings. I noticed that the hotel itself is old, and some areas feel dingy and in need of attention. The mattress wasn't very comfortable, and finding hairs on the bedding was quite off-putting.

While I didn't dine at the hotel restaurant, I enjoyed the nearby cafes for meals. The western dishes provided a nice taste of the area, adding to the local flavor of my stay.
Facilities

The hotel has a charming atmosphere, but the facilities were lacking in maintenance. I noticed the ceiling fan looked dirty, and overall there seemed to be a need for some deep cleaning and renovations.

My stay at The Campbell Hotel was mostly enjoyable, marked by its quirky charm and comfortable accommodations. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making for a welcoming atmosphere. A few issues with housekeeping and the overall cleanliness of the room did detract a bit from the experience, but the unique character of the hotel made it nice.

I stayed in the 'Restless Ribbon' room, which was extremely comfortable and relaxing. However, I noticed the bedspread looked a bit dingy and there were some minor issues with the drapes and a towel that had a hole in it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They made my experience even more pleasant, especially during conversations at the bar.
Location

The hotel is near downtown, which is perfect for exploring, though I did feel the surrounding area could be a bit concerning with ongoing construction nearby.
Dining

While I appreciated the coffee and breakfast bars offered, I would have loved to see more fresh options like fruit to really enhance the morning experience.
Facilities

The facilities included a bar, spa, and even a deli that delivered to my room, which was an unexpected treat. Just a heads up that one vending machine was nearly empty during my stay.

I stayed in a king room that felt more like a suite. it had a lovely desk area and even a little refrigerator. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the old hardwood floors added character, and the vintage bathtub was a treat for a cozy soak. The shower could have drained better, but everything was clean and inviting.
Service

The staff were good and very accommodating. they were patient in answering all my questions about the area. However, there was a slight hiccup when I tried to bring up a maintenance issue when no one was around at the front desk.
Location

The location was fantastic, so close to downtown. I appreciated the nearby dining options, although I did feel that the area wasn't the safest at night. Still, the overall convenience and lively atmosphere made it worth it.
Dining

Breakfast was at a nearby restaurant called Toast. while I would have loved an in-house option, I enjoyed their offerings. The surrounding area had a variety of cuisines to choose from, making dining convenient.
Facilities

The hotel had charming facilities with a welcoming drink at check-in. I appreciated the large parking area, which made my stay hassle-free. However, a little more attention to upkeep would elevate the experience.
